Flame, a 7-year-old male German Shepherd,
remains missing as of December 27, 2025, following his disappearance from the Beechview neighborhood of Pittsburgh during a storm on December 13, 2025.
Incident Details
- Appearance: Flame is a German Shepherd with a blue collarfeaturing his city dog license and a rabies tag from Penn Animal Hospital. He is not microchipped.
- Last Seen: He was reportedly spotted on Sunday, December 14, around 10:00 AM, near the Westfield (West View) trolley stop and Suburban Avenue.
- Suspected Sighting: Witnesses reported seeing a woman in her 30s with brown hair pick him up in a white Hyundai Elantra. The owner, Frank Gale, believes someone may be holding the dog after receiving conflicting stories from a local Reddit thread.
